Welcome to our Introduction to Cross-Cultural Medicine in Nepal website! In May of 2024, nursing, pre-med, and pre-PA students from Calvin University will travel with Professor Kumar Sinniah (Calvin University), Dr. Theo Beels, MD, and Mrs. Beth Beels, RN to Nepal.  The goal of this May term course is to guide students in their decision to pursue a career in a health profession and provide exposure to medicine and nursing in a cross-cultural context.   We welcome you to visit this website frequently during our time in Nepal for updates, pictures, and reflections by students.
