Relaxing Sabbath

The day started off with being able to sleep in! We ate the usual toast and eggs at 8am. After breakfast we worked on planning the english church service we were leading for Expat physicians and nurses (those not from nepal). Starting around 10am we all worked on writing our reflections about our time in Nepal.

We took a much needed break around 10:30 to go to the canteen. We enjoyed some chia, mango juice, apple juice, and donuts.

Then we went back and did some more writing!! Finally, it was time for lunch which was leftover pizza, watermelon, and carrots. At 1pm all us kiddos headed off to meet up with some Nepali nursing students. We walked with them to town where they showed us their favorite restaurant. It was so delish!

We rushed back for the church service at 4pm. We sang some songs and Sarah B, Tyler, Jon, and Renee shared meaningful stories and the songs that went with them. Amelia was on guitar duty and Ellie and Tyler (our amazing singers) led the group to be on key! Sarah Z and Katelyn led the children’s church.

After church we had dinner with everyone who attended. Finally we ended the night with some games!
