Last day in Nepal :(

We were up at 7am for some yummy breakfast. Some of us were wide awake after an encounter with a big spider in the bathroom! We set off for about a 2 mile walk to a suspension bridge. It wasn’t as long as the ones in pokhara but the views were still epic! Some people enjoyed jumping on the bridge until some police walked over…then they stopped. Amelia got a little muddy.

Then on the walk back we stopped at higher grounds for some coffee! We also stopped at a corner shop to stock up on snacks and candy for the long journey ahead!

Professor Sinniah and Tyler left to do some last minute shopping while the rest of us took some time to pack and rest. We went out for lunch and then adventured to find Mariam’s house where we listened to stories. She is a famous nutritionists that came up with a solution for malnourished children. It’s a mixture of roasted corn, wheat, and soybeans. She generously made us lots of snacks and chia. We were glad to meet a celebrity!

For dinner we went to a local place called easy eats! We enjoyed a variety of foods and of course lassis!
