The day started with the 7 nursing students rushing off to their nursing stations at 6:45 AM. They need to be at their respective nursing stations by 6:50 AM. The preeps (premed + pre-PA) played a card game, recited the morning declaration and then went off to “morning report” by 7:45 AM. Morning report is where all of the senior and junior doctors gather for a devotion, and then the junior doctors report any new admitted cases to the hospital overnight and a report on the continuous monitoring of current patients. This is also an opportunity for senior docs to train junior doctors.

Today was laundry day for the group. (The didi’s who do the cooking for us at the guest house also do our laundry)

After the hospital visits today, the students headed to downtown Tansen for momos and banana lassi – their new found love!
Some of us were tired from our walk last evening! Notice the dog that is following us!
We end each day with a devotion and praying for the person who led the devotion.
I love how you start and end the day in prayer. And those banana lassis look delicious!! Maybe I can find a place around Grand Rapids that serves them.
