This morning we had the option to sleep in, however, some of us chose to wake up early for a hike and see the sunrise over Tansen.

Following our breakfast, we said our goodbyes to the Didis of our guest house and some of the folks who helped us with our stay in Tansen. Oh and Katelyn succeeded in catching a lizard!! Then we all packed up into a van and drove to Srijana farms!

Our mini road trip was full of beautiful views and gorgeous greenery of the Nepali countryside. Thankfully only a couple of us got car sick this time!

Soon after our arrival we were greeted with warm coffee and delicious homemade muffins! It was a great way to start our relaxing break from the hospital.

Following our coffee break, we went forshort trek to see the first building in Srijana Farms.

For lunch we received the staple Dal Baat that warmed and filled our bellies in preparation for our tour of the farm!

Before we got to experience the farm in its entirety, Dr. Beels encouraged us to spend some time with God and focus on what He has to say to us.

Our tour of the farm was full of rain, fresh fruits and veggies, and of course baby goats!

We ended our day with some DELICIOUS dinner and quality time playing games together! We are so excited to see what tomorrow holds and can’t wait to relax more!! Thank you all for your prayers and good wishes as we shadowed in the hospital. We are so thankful for you all!!
